finding details about case abroad

So, I filed for a re-entry permit, then left the US and am in Germany, and now I received an email from USCIS telling me that my document has been sent to the address I provided. Only I checked the option on my application that I want it sent to the consulate in Munich.

I'd like to call and inquire about where they actually sent it. Anybody know how to do so from abroad? I doubt the toll free number would work. The email says I shouldn't reply to it.

Also, now that I am abroad, do I need to update my address with the USCIS? Or should I leaved them with my US one (it's my friend's house, and she checks on my mail for me). Thanks, any insight highly appreciated.

Either they sent it to the consulate in Munich, or to the US address they have on file for you. Wait a few days for it to arrive, then contact somebody who can check your US mailbox. If it's not there, contact the consulate.
