Finding case/receipt number from check

thinking

Registered Users (C)
My check was encashed 07/17. I am looking at the check image online but there are many numbers on the back of the check. There is a # starting with USC followed by 10 digits. Is it the right one?

Thanks to all.

I am not sure of the USC.

According to the USCIS here are following service centers:

EAC/ESC = Vermont Service Center (VSC)
LIN/NSC = Nebraska Service Center (NSC)
RC/SSC = Texas Service Center (TSC)
WAC/WSC = California Service Center (CSC)
MSC = Missouri Service Center (MSC)

In any event, it is the service center followed by *00 and numbers (Total of 13 digits).

For eg:The correct receipt number should be ESC*00xxxxxxx

WSC (not usc)

I verified with Bank. It starts with WSC. Whats new is it starts with 100202....

Is it new format???

Thanks.

My check had ESC followed by a 7 digit number. I inserted *00 between ESC and the number to get my receipt number.
