Just a quick comment. I recently received two posts asking me for a good immigration attorney in San Diego. For all sorts of reasons, I do not like to make these kinds of recommendations.
Whether you live in San Diego or Portland, Maine - consult www.aila.org - this is a network of accredited immigration attorneys. Call them up - talk to them - inquire about their rates. Finding an attorney is like finding a good business connection, hairdresser, acupuncturist etc. You have to acquaint yourself.
