Financial Statements

Dear Alren / CP Gurus,

Is it neccessary to carry financial statements of the employer to the consular interview. And for which year (year in which labor was filed / I140 was approved or year of consular interview). What if the employer does not want to part with confidential information.

In my case my employer does not issue stand alone financial statements since our financial statements get aggregated with our parent company. But my employer has stand alone tax returns.

Thanks,

There's no requirement. But my motto is to be ready for all the eventuallity. So if the employer can give you in a sealed envelope, it would be better.

Mine is a public co., so I just carried the annual report. But never bothered with that.

Try to get your company's tax returns, if they can give, even if in sealed envelope. Also take parent company's financial statements, if available to you.

My company is very very small, I was carrying it but still they did not ask to see the financial statements. Most of the time they do not ask. That is what I have seen on this thread. But It's always good to have as much information as possible.
