After a long wait my case has been touched. Message changed to:
On March 16, 2004, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 14 days have passed and you have not received the notice, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

No change in spouse's case status. I don't know the details of my RFE yet will update once i receive them.

@ the end of this long tunnel. Could u please let us know when did u get your 2 FP done, so that we can gage our own timeline to see the light...:)?

Goes without saying, Reply to the RFE ASAP! Looks like INS is in the mood to approve cases, and nothing like making hay while the sun shines! :)

I didn't receive the 2nd FP notice. I did my first one in may 2002. :(

I think i am ready with all the paper work i am waiting for RFE notice to see what they requested. Once i receive that i will send all the paper work to my attorney, and will start pushing him to send them to INS ASAP.

Look into going for your FP. Take the old FP notice and walk into San Jose Office saying your FP is going to expire.

Search some old threads where a few people did just that.

It will save time if you are asked to go for FP before approval.

I am not in CA i am in NJ. I am going to India tomorrow i will give a try in Newark after i come back.
