Finally...received IL after name check cleared

Finally............................

I called 800# number and they told me my interview is scheduled for July 5, 2007. I could not believe my ears:) ...I have called them about once a week only to hear my case was pending name check and then it was in interview queue.

I had written to my senators although I do not believe that helped. When the timelines were updated for this month, my case was out of processing time and I filed a "service request" on May 22. I believe that triggered my case being pulled out of the regular interview queue to be scheduled by a computer to someone putting it ahead.

The sense of relief is unbelievable...I have read so many posts on this forum regarding lawsuits, unbelievable delays, etc. that it's very easy to get depressed, paranoid and pessimistic. In my case, it just helped to forget about the application until the processing dates were current.

I want to thank fellow forum members for the excellent and impartial advice. Finally, it helps to be patient...although that's easier said than done.

I'm hoping to get the IL within the next 2-3 days and then prepare for the interview. Good luck to all.

Good for you. One mile stone crossed.

When the service request was done, did you get any letter from local DO ??
