Finally Received FP notice

Hi All,
Finally I received my + wife's FP notice. ND is May 2002.
Appointmnet date/time (3 weeks from now) is different in both the notice.
I was wondering if any one has experience in doing it before than the
scheduled date. Are they very strict about it...?
I sent couple of faxes (same format as in the forum). Dont know
if that helped or ...it was regular.
 
Yes. There are guys who went before and got it done

Just give it a try.

You need to convince them by saying that you would be "out of town.....etc... blah... blah and that you are trying to get it done now"

It worked in some of my friends cases...

Hi Get2,
I am glad to hear your geting FP notice, My ND is May 2002 too (TSC), but I have not had FP notice yet. very frustrate, could you tell if you request FP or did something? thank you!

My ND is May 2002, no FP yet, faxed some, email congressmen some (didn't get response, so don't know whether they received or not), very frustrate too...
 
Between the other board (MSN) and this one, several May/June 2002 NDs have recently reported having recd FP notices. It appears that TSC may be finally conducting a thorough sweep of that ND range. If true, one can only hope that once FP'd, these I-485s would be promptly adjudicated thereafter and not left to gather more dust.

We already did our First FP's Jul 15th. Nothing happend tillnow.

Let see how much dust they will keep on the files.
