This is my final post. Today, after more than 4 years waiting, I received an actual green card on my hands!
Here are my details:
Filed regular Labor Certification: May/98
Gave up on regular LC, filed RIR LC: Aug/99
Labor Cert. approved: Mar/00
I-140 filed: May/00
I-140 approved: Oct/00
I-485 filed: Dec/00
I-485 approved: Jan/02
PP stamped: Feb 4 02
Cards ordered: Feb 20 02
Cards received: Feb 25 02
It is absurd how long we have to wait to get a GC but is something everybody has to go through.
I\'d like to think that I finished this process a little bit wiser and with a lot more patience! As my father used to say: "hardship makes character"!
