Went to India for a month (01/25/03 to 02/25/03). No problems.
GC recieved: 03/06/03

Finally the saagaa is over...

Congratulations for becoming a Permanant Resicence of this great country.

.....that means, you can travel with your stamping in the Passport, you need not wait until you get your plastic cards!!! I would appreciate your clarification on this.

As for Sairam's query, it is perfectly fine to travel outside USA with just the stamp on the passport ( one does not require to wait for the plastic card).
