Finally NSC approved 7/18

Feel great to write this thread. Received email today, 7/18 @ 11 am, stating that the card production has been ordered and to allow 30 days to receive. Also, received approval for one of my sons 485 application. My wife and second son's approvals pending, hope to see those emails by end of the day, shall confirm.

I had opened a service request in the first week of this month and earlier today, tried to get InfoPass, but later learnt that the system is down until 7/19 1 pm, EST. So decided to write to my state senator who was helpful in getting my I-140 approved, but the magic emails saved the senator's and my time.

My sincere thanks to Rajiv Khanna for this wonderful site and to so many helpful members here who continue to support in this long dreadful journey of GC application. I pray that the approvals for all those waiting come ASAP and strictly follow the FIFO / PD in respective EB categories. Although, I am lucky to get the approval, it is painful to see those waiting from 2001, 2002, early 2003 with no serious issues in their applications.

The LUD prior to today's change was 08/16/2006, maybe fingerprint update. BTW, got another emails at 5.30 pm EST for the same 2 cases, stating that welcome notice is mailed today. However, the approvals for my wife and second son, still awaited.

GCFreedom thanks and wish that you too soon get the freedom from the GC saga, alongwith several others waiting for years.

Did you get your cards yet DIGS?

Hey DIGS,
Just checking if you received your cards yet? I got my approval notice on July 18 and got the approval notice sent email on 07/23. I haven't received my cards yet. Please let me know if you got 'em.

GC Approval

I just got my GC approval notice, but my wife online tracking still says "case processing"....i am the primary. How does this work, if mine is approved is her case is also approved?? should i contact nebraska service center?? Anybody have contact numbers.

Hi pcpresident,

Yes, I got the physical cards on 7/27 for my 2nd son and self. Hopefully, you too must have got them by now. However, there is no approval or LUD changes on the 485 applications of my wife and 1st son. So, sriganesh, I too am sailing with you on that issue. BTW, I have taken an Infopass appointment for 8/10 on pending 2 applications. Shall update then.
