Finally..my turn..approved 2/6/04
been waiting so long to say...FREEDOM...

1/10/02 - filed I485
3/15/02 - 1st FP
07/15/03- 2nd FP
10/01/03 - I485 - RFE - employment letter
11/12/03 - response to RFE - AC21 - change employer
12/05/03- filed 3rd EAD & 3rd AP. Current EAD expired 02/03/04.
12/08/03 - transferred to local office
12/15/03 - 3rd FP from vermont. aopt date 1/27/04
01/12/04 - 4th FP from local office. appt date 1/27/04
01/13/04 - did my 3rd & 4th FP same time
01/22/04 - received interview letter. APpt date 2/6/04
02/06/04 - APPROVED AND STAMP.

Journey is not over yet. It 's just beginning...

a few question.

how long does it take to get the GC in hand after the 485 is approved and stamped? is it possible to quit the job and go to school if the 485 is approved? or somebody needs to stick to the job if it is a job related GC intil the GC comes in hand?

Could you share with us a little bit of the interview questions and documents requested? Did you use your old medical? My case was transfered to Newark on 1/12/04. I am waiting for FP2 and interview notice.

How do you apply your 3rd EAD and where did you send to? Is it after you have applied your 3rd EAD only your case transferred to Newark? Please advise.
