Finally, My I485 got approved, but my wife's is still pending, why??

Finally I got magic words as follows:

Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

This case has been approved. On September 13, 2004, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

I will keep on praying for everybody's pending case!!!

I am so happy but also worried by my wife's pending case yet. Her case is the derivative case. I called FBI several times regarding her name check status, but FBI responded the inquiry of my own's name check status, but not hers, do not know why?? Since my name check has been pending in FBI for more then one year, I just faxed the letter asking for an expedite name check for both my case and my wife's case, but do not know why my wife 's case is still pending????

Does anybody has the same experience - the primarary was approved but the derivative was pending. Pls. share the experience, for example, after how long the derivative case was approved.

RD: I140 NIW + I485 for both my case and my wife's case: Apr. 2003,
AD for I140: May 2003.
FP for both my case and my wife's case: March 2004.
AD for my I485: 09/13/05
AD for my wife's I485" ?? God is blessing us.

Cool! Lemme be the first to CONGRATULATE, did you get any LUD after your 2nd FP or before you are getting your case approved?

Yes, it is the same day as my AD, 09/13/04.
