I want to share the happy news that our 485 has finally been approved today(09/30). Got 2 emails (1 for myself and 1 for my wife). The whole process started 09/01 with labour certification and it is finally over. :)

Now I have some questions:

1. Other than the old EADs and APs, what else do I need to take with me?
2. Can somebody list out few questions they ask during PP Stamping
3. Can I go with the printout of the email that I got, or do I have to wait for the actual letter to arrive?
4. Yesterday only we posted to CIS for our 3rd EAD and AP Renewal. Is it possible to get the packet and money back or is it too late. I dont think $300+ is a small money any day. :eek:
5. Do I have to fix up InfoPass Appointment in Seattle.

If you have sent the packet via one of the couriers, you can call them up and stop the delivery. They will return it to you. It happened with me when I had to get the pasket back due to missing documents. I used FedEx. Not too sure about USPS.

Here are my forum knowledge answers.

1.. Other than the old EADs and APs, what else do I need to take with me?

Ans :The I.O. will ask for the approval letter, passport, all AP, one form of ID. and EAD.

2. Can somebody list out few questions they ask during PP Stamping

Ans: There is no really speic questions they will ask. no need to worry about those. As per knowledge they will just need your documents and may ask you show your ID.

3. Can I go with the printout of the email that I got, or do I have to wait for the actual letter to arrive?

Ans: You may try that. But now a days INFOPASS taking atleast 2 weeks get an appointment, so by that time you will receive your approval letter. But Members prefer go with Approval letter.

Ans: You should call your postal service and call it back. I saw many cases to correct the document they were able call it back. so can try that.

5. Do I have to fix up InfoPass Appointment in Seattle.

Ans: Most the places are using now INFOpass system. or visit for more info.
