Finally I heard the magic word!!!!!

Hey guys,

Finally after 2 year and 4 months of wait in I-485 stage, I heard the magic word "This case has been approved". For my wife it still says that "the case is not found". I have long story of pain suffering. My case was trnsferred from TSC to NSC after 2 year of I-485 wait. I have been in touch with my senator for last 6 months. They have been following my case on weekly basis.

Any suggestion for my wife\'s case???

congrats...I have the same story like yours.My 140 is from VSC.But 485 is from

Nebraska.Iam expecting a long delay because of this.
1.Why did your case took so long? Does every transferred case( like VSC or Texas to Nebraska Sevice center ) will take such a long time.Or was it just your case which took so long.
2.My RD is 09/27/01.I know it will take atleast 3 months to open my file .In the mean while can I do some thing at this stage to fasten my case.Please advice.

It is a long story, Initialu when I filed my I-485 all the dates were current. Sunsequently it retrigressed. Then all sorts of things happened at TSC became very slow. In january they started to review my case again and send it to NSC for all BS reasons. Then it tool 6 mo at NSC to open my file.

Even now my wife\'s case is not approved. I do not know what will happen in her case.

2) I do not think you can do anything to make your case move faster. If you think that NSC is processing case later than your case then you can contact your senator.
