Finally... I am approved

After waiting for more than 5 years, finally I am appoved a short while ago. Therefore it's now clear that we are going to see more approvals in coming days. I got card ordered email at 5:15 PM today. (no approval email, no LUD prior to approval). I got approval email for my spouse also though I am still waiting for approval email for my son.

I have one question though. How is it possible to get the approval when there are no visa numbers? Am I misreading the Visa Bulletin?

Making everything current has created just a mess. They are following 485-RD date instead of PD date and approving application which has later PD date but got the LC done quickly. I'm happy for people who got approvals, everybody deserves happiness ...but there are people are still waiting with older PD but late 485-RD date.
