Finally get the card!!!

Finally, I received my GC (yes, the physical card) today in mail. Thank god the painful journey is over and you guys for all the valuable information, I wish you all the best and get your cards ASAP!!! The following is case details. My company is small start-up in bay area.

12/2001---------LC filed.
12/2003---------LC approved.
02/2004---------I140 filed.
05/2004---------I485 filed.
02/03/2005------I140 approved.
02/11/2005------Received the notice for biometrics.
02/18/2005------ASC took my regular ten fingers's finger prints by mistake.
02/25/2005------Went back to ASC for the biometrics.
03/07/2005------Received the GC in mail (haven't received the I-485 approval notices and the I485 online status still shows no sign of approval).

I did my biometrics on 2/25 too. no sign of approval and no GC in mail :(

did you have any LUDs between 2/25 and 3/7?
 
what is this thing with biometrics -- dont u have to go for stamping if u get a notice for biometrics instead of regular fingerprinting ?
 
on 2/25 morning they took my fingerprints,
few hours later they called me and asked to come back because they forgot to take my picture.
I came back about 1 pm and they took a picture and additional fingerprint (only one finger)
They explained me that this is a new thing. Usually, they did only fingerprints, but I was the first person in our ASC for whom something else was requested.

It would be nice if they decided to bypass the passport stamping and send GC as soon as case is approved.

Name check email to FBI sent in Dec end...no reply yet.

unfortunately almost all my LUDs are correlated to the CSC responses to senators, congressmen, CIS ombudsman, lawyers, my company HR department, etc. All responses are similar, case is undergoing review, processing will take longer than usual. Many responses are absolutely not about what the inquire was. It looks like they don't even read inquires.
