Finally.... at last, I can see the greener side of Immigration. After my 6 year struggle with lot of ups & downs.. its finally over, We (Wife & me) received cards in the mail.

I would like to thank all the folks on this forum who gave me courage and hope at all times in this GC Journey..

For lot of other people that are waiting.. please don't loose hope and Don't panic..(its easy to say.. but I went through this as my I-485 was denied twice..)

EAD1 - 02/21/04 ,EAD2 - 10/27/04 EAD3 - 08/02/05 EAD4 - 04/22/06 EAD5 -12/22/06
I-485 denied - 11/01/2005 (as we failed to appear for FPs, even though we did not receive any..)
MTR/I-290B filed - 11/23/05 - I-485 Re-opened (02/06)
FP1 - 03/21/06 FP2 - 07/12/07
LUD - March 17 2007 (for xfer to TSC )
Card Production ordered email - 8/27
Welcome Notice email- 8/29
Approval Notice sent email - 8/30
Recieved cards and notices-09/01:) :) :)

Hearty Congrats..

That means you have received the card without receiving the email of Card mailed. I mean you have received the card after the email of case is approved. Is that right!

I am just giving status of my approval case details.
LUD - March 7 2007 (for xfer to TSC )
Card Production ordered email - 8/28
Welcome Notice email- 8/29
8/31/7 dated Approval Notice sent email on 9/3
Recieved cards and notices-???
 
sarwarmd - Yes. I received cards without any email notification or UD change as "Card Mailed"... I was surprised to..

In that case, let me be positive. Based on that calculation, I should be receiving the final card either tomorrow or day after.
 
Our cases are in diagnoal direction.

I see that your wife's 485 is pending but your kids case is approved where as it is opposite in my case. My wife case is approved but my kids cases are remained untouched as per LUDs.
What exactly did you do raise a SR for your kid?
 
where will GC go?

I had registered my lawyers address as the place where I wanted my documents mailed.
I live in an obscure place in the hills where my mail is usually returned as undeliverable .
Wll my lawyer recieve the GC or will it be delivered at the physical address I had registered in my application?

SR is always a official way of checking the status, I don't know it has anything to do with approval, but we just have to do it for our satisfaction.

Another note, I never received "card ordered" or "card mailed" emails, my case got approved on 24th August and physical card received on 31st August.

sarwarmd - You should be getting the cards soon. It Looks like IO;s may have forgot to update the status on the case.

I appreciate your intrigue to look into my case details.
But how did you check the case status to open SR? Did you call on the phone or did you take InfoPass appointment! If you called on the phone, what is the phone number!

This is forum is terrific. It works 24X7 without any break at all. I am saying this as if I am a new user when I am using this since more than 3 or 4 years.
