Finally approved!!

I got the magic mail today. The I-140 application was approved on 3/7/05. We had replied to the RFE. The reply was received by TSC on 3/1/05.

Just glad tto get this done. Now for the final stretch--I-485.

I wish everybody the best of luck, and hope that everybody get their approvals fast!!

Can you please detail when did you receive the RFE? What was the RFE about? When did you sent the RFE back? Thanks.

RFE was for both qualifications and ability to pay.

For Qualifications they wanted transcripts and certificates. I am a Physician so they wanted ECFMG certificates. Additionally, I got my MD degree evaluated too and sent it.

Ability of the organization to support. For years 2002, 2003 & 2004 (1) copies of federal tax reports with copies of all schedules or (2) copies of annual reports or (3) audited final statements.In addition all your W2's of the indicated time frames.

My employer was very co-operative. Stll waiting for I140 approval.

I think you will get the approval within 1-2 weeks. These are the exact messages that I had on their website. Good luck.
