Our I-485 cases were approved yesterday. I checked several times during the day and there was nothing. When I opened up my email last night, there were two new messages from USCIS and there they were. I'm so relieved because I was worried we might need to redo FP. I did call the 800 number last week but I don't know if it did anything. Hope the good news keeps coming.

Congrats!!!! So e-mail notification is working. That is good news !! Not that it would matter to the die hard fans of the case status checking website.
 
Congratulations! It is nice to see approvals since it has been pretty quiet this week. Glad to know that they are still working on 485s.
 
I am so happy to see that office 16 is back on approving applications. May be our apps are next in his queue.
