Finally Approved after 32 months.

Finally i got approved.Here are my details
apply for i-485 on july-1998.
Fp=01/29/99
ref=06/01/2000 about Biographics information.
Since my company name changed so INS asked me to Redo I-140.
Apply for redo I-140 in august 2000.I-140 approved in oct 2000.
In the mean time my finger print expired so i redo the Finger print
on 11/29/2000.
Today i called the Ins and find out my case approved after 32 month(1000 days).
It\'s was a very bumby ride for me , i moved from Coast to Coast
just to keep my G.C process alive.In five years i did not get
any Raise from my Employer.I was viewing the discussion board from
Time to time and i find out people who applied 15 months after me get
approved,it\'s make me more depressed.My attorney was not help ful at all.
Call Ins so many times and get standard Answer we will take decision
on your Case with in a month.I call the senator and no help from there.
I just keep praying to God.Finally my prayer got answer and i approved
To day. My heart will goes to all people who are still waiting for their
Approval.Hang in there and belive in your self.
When can i except to get approval notice in Mail. and what i need to take
for the Passport Stamping?.
Can i changed my employer now or do i have wait until i get my Card ?

Congratulations buddy. After the approval, you should get the notice in max 2 weeks. I have seen people getting it in a week too. The notice is supposed to say what you need to take for passport stamping. Just carry anything you think might be useful. Like: some address proof (driver\'s license and couple of utility bills), old passports, marriage cert, old visa approvals etc., You may not need all the extra stuff, but hey, you donot want to comeback for some silly document after going for stamping right ? Just carry anything that may be related.

My case is similar to Sparks\'s case.
Still i am waiting.
ND-12/98, fp1-6/99, fp2-1/01.
Rfe-ed twice due to the company name change.
Now waiting for th approval.
