Finally our cases (mine and my wife's) have been approved. It's a big relief after going through lots of anxiety. I just received 4 emails. I moved out of california 180 days after applying for I-485. My lawyer sent out AC21 papers to INS in January 2003. I was expecting an RFE for sure, luckily didn't get one!!
Yesterday, surprisingly an IIO called me on my cell phone and told me that my file is with an officer ( I did a fax enquiry a couple of months ago). I am sure everyone will get approved soon...looks like they are working on it. It's just a matter of time. Hang on!!
