Please note that the expedite request was denied and I believe that what made someone look at my case to see that it is ready for adjudication was me speaking with an immigration officer at NSC.
Also I did AC21 a month ago (lawyer sent a letter).

Dear Sir/Madam:
The above referenced Application to Adjust to Permanent Resident Status has been pending with your office since March 13, 2006.
As of February 6, 2007 the case is 4 months outside published processing dates, although the visa number is available as the priority date for the EB-2 world category is current.
On November 16, 2006 an InfoPass appointment confirmed that all security checks had been cleared and the case is ready for adjudication.
On November 20, 2006 in response to a status check, I received a letter from Nebraska Service Center (copy attached) stating that security checks had been cleared.
On January 8, 2007 I received another (conflicting) letter from Nebraska Service Center (copy attached) stating that my case had been delayed as the required investigation into my background check remains open.
On January 30, 2007 yet another InfoPass appointment confirmed again that all security checks had been cleared on May 9, 2006.
Given the above facts it appears that the case has been delayed because of the Service error. I respectfully request to expedite processing of the case. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
