Final results DV2012??? What's the meaning of

Hi Guys

Please what's the meaning of "As a result of the delay in releasing the final results for DV-2012, posts may receive fewer DV numbers in the first quarter of FY 2012. CA will work to distribute the numbers throughout the year as equally as possible, to limit the concentration of applicants at the end of FY 2012.

What does this mean?

Means that there might be a delay in the processing for interviews because of the 2 months lost. People still need time to prepare their document and DOS/KCC need time to process the applications.

Basically, they are supposed to start with interviews at embassies ('posts') in October but because of the delay, they expect that fewer interviewer will be scheduled between Oct-Dec and more b/n Jan-Sep 2012.
