filling two i-485

Hi, I have a question about filling two 485 based on different i-140. I have filled the current i-485 at april this year. My i-140 was approved in July. And I am in the long waiting of 485 right now. Unfortuately my company is not doing well and I am afraid to loose this job before the endless 485 waiting.
My husband applied 140 based on his employer two month ago. So my questions is can I fill another 485 as his dependent? I don't see any rules and regulation about two 485 fillings at the same time. Check murthy.com. I recall seeing a report there (in the updates section - it may have been moved now) a while back that discussed multiple filings designed to maintain status.

If memory serves, I believe INS allows you to make multiple I-140s and multiple I-485s as long as the principal beneficiaries of each set are different individuals. Be sure to research this further before you act.
