we are applying for OCI for our 4 yr old kid in a separate application. Does the parent have to sign on behalf of the minor in Question 24, or can I leave Question 24 blank and instead only sign in the section "**Application for Minor(s)" ?

The application form states that Question 24 is to be filled in mandatorily. The person filling the application form can fill in Question 24 details, sign on behalf of your son(with a side note - Father/Mother of xxx) and also fill in/sign the section titled: **Application for Minor(s)
