Filling of I-765

I was on h1 and I entered on Advance Parol in August 2005 as my I-485 is pending.
I am applying for renewal of EAD and in the form there is a column asking as CURRENT STATUS OF IMMIGRATION and ENTERED AS ???
Can any one clarify that what has to be filled in these columns.

I am just curious if you can enter on AP if you are on H1. I thought you had to be on EAD, not just carry a valid EAD, to enter the US on AP.

I have never applied for an AP and don't have too much AP knowledge.

Correct me if I am wrong.
