Filling I-130

Hi, let me get straight to the point. I'm a naturalized U.S. citizen. My parents came to the U.S. in the year 2000 with a tourist visa from Venezuela. We stayed in the U.S. all this time and we have never returned back home. Now that I'm a U.S. citizen I would love to petition my parents for a permanent residency; obviously they are still here in the U.S. any tips? Going back to Venezuela and wait for a Visa is not an option. Should I just fill the I-130 and wait for something? Thank you.

Your parents are immediate relatives of a U.S. citizen. You should file I-130 and I-485 (adjustment of status) concurrently. There are many guides on the Internet. They should also file for I-765 (employment authorization) at the same time; it's not required, but it's free and recommended, as it will allow them to get an SSN and driver's license, etc. They should not leave the U.S. until they get their green cards.
