A U.S. citizen friend of mind is filling for his parents (who are not in the U.S.), his wife (out of state here) & her 3 kids his step kids (not in the U.S.) all under the age of 14. he plans on sending in all the filling as one.

#1 Parents: Should he file one I-864 for all or separate forms one for his parents & the other for his wife & kids.

#2 If he files one I-864 form for all, Part 2 L2 who's name should be here. L8 he will be getting a friend affidavit support & L9 what should be here since their will be six on his filling but only five spaces available.
When filling should he send in all the forms all in one file, I-130 (parents, wife & step kids) all, I-485 wife, G-325 his & G-325A wife, I-865 his & I-854A friends support, I-765 wife, I-131 wife (must this be fill also), I-693 wife.

#3 Wife: If the I-864 should be file separately same question concerning Part 2 L2 & L8. Both his parents & wife will be getting different affidavit of support.

We are talking about 6-8 applications here, each costs around $1500 and a mountain of paperwork. I think he should file for his wife and kids first, then later for his parents. Filing all at the same time increases possibilities of things going wrong and timing clash.

Each beneficiary will need a separate I-130, separate I-485 for those in the US, separate G-325 and NVC paperwork for those filing for a visa abroad.
