Filling for a spouse- not permanently living together

I am filling for my green card through my spouse. I am currently on a TN visa and live in Dallas due to my job. He lives in Houston. We both compute back and forth on weekends but aren't living together permanently. I have gotten my licensee changed to Houston and we both are lease holders of our apartment. Should we go ahead and put the date we got married as the date we started living together to current date and explain the situation in our interview or will this just create a problem?

The date you got married is on your marriage certificate. The date you started living together is different, so don't try to pretend that they're the same. Simply explain the situation in the interview, and provide evidence of your ties to the shared Houston apartment, such as your name on the lease, and other bills in your name going to the Houston address.

You need to submit your Marriage Certificate. So, It's illegal to show the date you started to live together. Your marriage date will be printed in your marriage certificate. You can find more information here.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, we will submit our marriage certificate. The date on there is January and I will start living with him after a month. I wanted to apply now. Do you suggest that I wait till next month to submit my application? or in the last address you lived together, I enter a future date i.e. next month or should I enter the date we got married and explain it in the interview as to how I lived with him while my TN visa was through an employer in Dallas?
Please advice

Since you are already in legal immigration status and your spouse is a US citizen, there probably isn't a need to rush to file the application immediately (unless your TN status expires soon), so if you can wait a bit it's a good idea to delay your application by a month or two so you can start living together and accumulate more evidence of your married life together.

Thank you so much for the reply. That makes sense, but again I don't see any difference between now and the next month. I am already on the lease with him, we have a joint bank account, my license has his address. We have pictures from our wedding. I just want to get this done with as it's always on my mind. My TN doesn't expire for another year, but I have stopped going lately, so they might just cancel that?

Another question I had is on the date we started living together, should I leave the "to" date blank i.e. don't enter anything on the PDF and then write "current" with hand? or should I enter the date I mail the papers?
