I am on H4 Visa in US studying for my Masters at a US university. I and my husband are planning to go to Cananda to get our visas stamped.

While filling my DS156 should i mention that i am a student (profession),
provide address of my school and indicate that my intention is to Study.
I thought this might confuse the VO as to treat this as a F1 application and cause unnecessary questions.

Has anyone in a similar situation filled a DS-156 for your visa interview ? if so, please let me know how you filled the forms.

Since you are going for a H4 visa, why do you want to complicate the issue by giving the consular officer more questions than you have answers. Just state that you are a housewife and that you are living with your husband.

If he sees that you are studying, there is a possibility that he might reject your application and ask you to apply as an F1.
