i was wondering if i was gone from the US for about eight months...and i wanted to apply for my citizenship now, does the airline send the exact date you left the country to the USCIS??? what i mean is will the USCIS know that i was gone for 8 months?
PLS give me any suggestions or input.

You should assume CIS knows, and not try otherwise. A difference of a couple of days here and there might be forgiven as memory fault, but months ... I doubt it.

Since after 9/11 and the establishment of DHS, they have been updating their systems, and airlines are supposed to pre-collect passenger information and send it to DHS. How they use it, and who all gets it ... dunno.
