I have an job offer from US consulting company who is going to file my H1 petition for Apr-2007. am in india and my current employer (indian company) is also planning to file my H1b petition in Apr 2007. Since am not sure of getting the petition approval for the US consulting company (not a reputed co.), am thinking proceed with both the petitions, so that I will have at least one petition approaval.
Is it legal for two different employers to file H1b petitions for the same candidate (for the same cycle Apr-2007)?
So will it have any problems on my H1b prospects. ?
I have not informed about this to either of the emploers. will it have any problems.
pls advice me.
