I am currently working under OPT, which expires in June 2008. I graduated in May 20007. My employer is ready to start my green card process, even before applying for H1-B, which is excellent, but I am bit worried that it might cause conflict of intention should I not get H1-B in April (in lucky draw).
Let's say somehow that I do not get H1-B approved for the next fiscal year. Then I would probably want to go to graduate school or go back to my country. If I do my labor certification now, before knowing that my H1-B is approved, will it cause conflict of intention should I ever want to go back to school next fall? What's the harm in there if I start my labor certification process now?
