I am filing I-485, an application for a permanent residency. I recently traveled to Canada for a 3 days and the immigration officer did not replace my old I-94 with the current I-94 on my passport upon the re-entry to the U.S. from Canada. I am informed this is due to the Automatic Visa Re-validation. Since I do not have the most current I-94 number (the one from Canada) attached, do I put the information (including the last entry to the U.S. and the I-94 number) on the previous one that is stapled on my passport as the latest one?
