Filing I-485 with EAD and AP

My I-140 petition has been approved from VSC as of 5/16/2000 in EB-2 classification.

I do not have a lawyer. My company is planning to file I-485,EAD and AD all together with associated forms and fees.

I have the following question:

I-140 approval notice states that a copy of I-140 approval notice should be filed with i-485 to the local INS office. In my case local INS office is Arlington,VA.

Now, I always thought that I-1485/EAD/AP package needed to go to VSC directly. Does the local INS office forward the same to VSC or what??

That\'s what my lawyer did for me and I got AP and EAD approved.
