I have a pending employment based I-485 application in the EB3 India category. I thought this would have been approved years ago but due to retrogression and the slow movement of EB3 this is not looking promising.
My parents are also green card holders and I am going to file a I-130 in case the EB3 category is even further delayed. At this point With a PD of 8/27/02 it looks like both cases could become current around the same time without further retrogression.
My questions is:
-Is filing the I-130 while I have the I-485 EB3 pending allowed?
-Currently I am able to work and travel due to the employment I-485. Will filing the I-130 jeopardize this?
