Hi, so I already filed everything including I-130 and I-485 and other necessary documents.
We received a confirmation as well for my father and now he's waiting for EAD. It hasn't been 30 days yet (It will be in late June) so we cannot do anything right now.
I have to go to abroad at the end of July for education purpose and I don't think we will be notified for an interview before. I know he has to get his EAD first.
Question 1) Is it possible to postpone the interview?
2) If I call them about my circumstances, is it possible to have an interview before I leave?
3) If we postpone the interview to next year (I will be in US again in January), will that affect my father's application status?
