Filing green card for mother

My mother has labor certification pending as OT in US. I am a green card holder, eligible for citizenship in 2 years.
Will it be better for my mother to apply for employment based green card (time line wise, she is Indian citizen) or will it better for her if I file for her PR after I become a citizen (family based)? Which would be the best way to proceed time line wise. My mother is currently in India.

Why dont you let the employment petition proceed as is, and then; when you become a citizen, submit a relative-based petition for her if she does not yet have the GC? -- you can have 2 petitions at the same time.
