I am on B1 visa and in US for last 2 month and plans to stay for another 1 month. I will surely return to India before 3 months are completed as I am not permitted to stay beyond that. I will not be going for any extention also.
I am eligible for L1 and my company in US is going to apply for my L1 through premium processing, while I am in US on B1. So my L1 petition should be approved in the next 15-20 days while I am in US on B1. I am not planning for change of status in US.
So my question is:
1) Is this safe for my company to apply for L1 when I am in US on B1?
2) Will this cause any problem for L1 stamping when I am back in India after a month.
3) What are other possibilities which could happen?
