Filing for EAD renewal

Hi
My current EAD expires 03/04/2004

My 485 details are
RD 01/29/02
FP1 05/12/02
RFE issued 09/23/03 (Emp letter etc , medical for spouse)
RFE replied back on 10/08/03 (today)

No FP2 yet


Couple of questions:

1) My Co. HR asked me to file for EAD by end of Oct 2003, is it too early??
2) Filing Online vs regular mail - which is better

current timelines at VSC for c(9) EAD is 7/25/2003 which is about 9-10 weeks , so should I really file so early or wait for another month?

Nothing wrong in filing early...

as new start date would be after the current one expires. So even if there is any delay you should be fine.

Sounds too early to me. You can go to your local BCIS office and get an interim EAD on the same day if your application is pedning for more than 3 mo, so any time before Dec 4th should be fine.
