Filing for AOS do I get a new A# or am I starting all over again?

I got married to a US citizen, and I am living in the US. I’m about to file my I-130 and I-485. Here is the situation in a nutshell. I came to the US as a child (back in 1990) on nonimmigrant visa (which as expired years ago, and I have my I-94 in my passport) My mother employers were filling for her, and because I as a minor I was receiver a EAD card and a SS card (valid for work only) Well things did not work out with my mother’s case (lawyer problems and other things, and she married her long time boyfriend and filed AOS, everything when well and she got her Green card) and when I turn 21 a few years ago I could not renew my EAD card (so I have been out of status since then) I am now 26 and I got married a few months ago to a US citizen. I have not left the country in all this time. My questions are:

1. Do I still use the A# from my old INS paper work? Or do I get assign a new one because this is a completely different case.

2. When filing EAD, since I already had an EAD card before (the last one I had expired over 4 year ago) which box do I check: Permission to accept employment or Renewal of my permission to accept employment?
Any advice would be so helpful and welcome.

Thank you.
