Filing for another AP

I got AP last yr but I need a new one because my AOS is pending (stuck at the name check :mad: ).
I submitted an AP application by mail last week but then I noticed that I could actually do it online. Is it true? Should I do it online again? Or it's ok for me to submit through regular mail? Was it correct for me to submit I-131 as I did for my first AP filed last yr together with my I485 package?

Even if you had filed online you would still have had to send the supporting documentation by regular mail. My experience with e-file this year was that it was faster than snail mail last year, but thats just me. I have generally heard that e-file takes the same amount of time as regular mail.

I don't think the form has changed since last year but I couldn't say that 100%.
