Filing Address

Hi,

I am filing I-130, I-485 together. I checked the address online where to send documents and both the addresses are different.

Here is the one for I-485:

USCISTexas Service CenterP. O. Box 851804Mesquite, TX 75185-1804

And this is the one fo rI-130:

USCIS Texas Service CenterP.O. Box 850919Mesquite, TX 75185-0919

Now, since I am sending all the documents together where should I send?
 
Send to the Chicago Lockbox address and make sure you send everything in one envelope. Retain proof of mailing and proof of delivery (e.g. certified mail, return receipt requested).

I sent it to the following address already:

I found this address on the I-485 form instructions.

Ohh man! Crap! Is it going to be okay!
 
I put everything in one envelope! I searched for hours online and could not find any address. The only address I found was of Mesquite. Ohh man! what have I done! :O(((((((((((((((
 
Just called UCSIC and confirmed the address. They said that I need to send to the I-485 address which I did. So, I am good!
 
mazam, the I-485 instructions state to send the package to the USCIS Chicago lockbox address. You can also find this here.

Thanks for the info. I have already sent the package to texas service center. Also, in the link that you provided. It says I can send the package if I am under 21 which I am NOT. I guess the address you are implying is for some other people and not me.

You are not getting to the point: whenever u are filing concurrently u need to send everything to chicago lockbox. No service center is taking any form any more even I130 independently need to go to chicago. there is no confusion about this.

mazam, I agree with you the instructions are poorly worded (dangling modifier?), the under 21 refers to children of citizens only. The key is that your petition is an Immediate Relative application with a concurrently filed I-130 US citizen spouse petition, which is supposed to go to the Chicago Lockbox. If they told you anything else on the phone, then they informed you incorrectly.
 
Well, I guess it is too late now. I have already sent the documents. I am calling USCIS right now.
 
Too late!

I just went to the post office and they have already sent the package to Mesquite. I used Priority Mail!!

I called USCIS and the lady told me that I should have sent to the Chicago (duhh first she told me Texas and now Chicago). She told me that the Texas Service Center will send your package to Chicago but it might take some time (actually lot of time :( ).

I cannot believe it! I did everything perfectly and this last step I messed up!

Is there anything can be done or should I just wait and wait....
