Filing 485 with wife in F-1 and working-help pls

My dates are current in July 1. My wife who is currently in F-1 got an internship position to start on July 9. Is it safe for her to take up the intern position as a F-1 student after we apply for adjustment of status. I know F-1 is not valid after we apply for 485. But, it is not revoked and she is in her final semester. the employer does not want to wait until we get our EAD, which probably will take more than 90 days. so will she have problems in her 485 or EAD/AP if she works in her F-1 until she gets her EAD card and giveup F-1 at that time.

PLease advice if any of you have any experience with similar situation.

Think about the long term. It may take some time, but once she gets an EAD via the I-485, she'll have many more job opportunities. Do you think her getting a job right now is worth jeopardizing her 485?
 
I think you are right. I was just hoping that she could still use her current F-1 until the EAD goes thru...I think I will hold for now, thanks for your input
