My company will be applying for an L-1A for me shortly. My title is 'Sales Manager'. I understand that there would be no LC stage and that I-140 and I-485 can be filed concurrently.
Now, since I will be establishing the US office of my company (which hitherto had no presence there), I hear that I would not be able to file for a GC until my L-1 becomes a 3-yr L-1. This is because, I'm told, the L-1 I get will be valid for 1 year as it will be a new US company and this is not enough to file for a GC.
