Last Sep. 2003, my online record showed that my files were transferred to LA office, from CSC. So i waited until the JIT report becomes current.
When nothing happened despite LA office now doing the Jan. 2004 I-485s, i used infopass to gather info at LA office. Horrors of all horrors when IIO said that my files were at NRC, Missouri, and never reached LA!!
I will now wait again since they will request my files to be brought to LA for processing.
Moral lesson is to use infopass and go to local office, esp LA, to make sure what they are telling is true since online record could be wrong.
