I was working for the CompanyA. My Labor Certification (LC) filed and approved before companyA bought out by CompanyB. My I-140 filed and approved after the merger. My I-485 was filed in Feb., 2000. My paralegal says that Vermont Service Center is holding on my case and waiting for a direction regarding what to do in my case. According to my paralegal VSC do not have clear direction regarding the merger cases. Is there anyone waiting for an I-485 approval in the similar situation? Thanks.

There was a hold on company name change cases like yours,
but per various discussions on this site - it has been lifted as
of around June 19th.
