Hi,

I efiled I-765 (renewal) with inaccurate A# (system cut off the last digit and I did not notice). I got the Receipt Notice with this wrong #, and now my EAD has been approved and must be in the mail. What if the card shows the wrong #??

The USCIS website says

If you find an error on a document we issued, you will have to file an
application to replace it, and you will have to return the
document when you apply. If the error was the caused by the
service and you can prove it, you may be able to file an application
without a fee.

I am not on any visa and only have an EAD to work. What happens if I have to re-file? Anybody please has ideas?
