Filed EB2 PERM, can I still use my EB3?

Hello,

My EB3 PERM and I140 is approved, the priority date just became current.

However last year I wanted to upgrade to EB2 so I requested my company filed a EB2 PERM for me, I just get to know that it got audited so it will take another 10 months to get it approved.

Now can I discard the EB2 PERM application and just use my EB3 instead?
