Please help me as the lawyer does not know what to do.
I filed for AOS in May 01. This month my company will be acquired by another company. The new company has already initiated paper work to file for H1-B( but have not filed yet).
1. What do I have to do?
2. Do I need to ammend 140? If yes, then will I have to do 485 again?
3. Will I have to start GC with new company again? Not much time left on H1B.
4. Can I work for new company on EAD when I obtain one?
Please help. I know, there are many companies in CA who go through this alot and there may be many like me who have gone through this before. Please post the best possible action.
